Online Booking Integration
FrontDeskClinic provides an embeddable booking widget and a hosted booking page that patients can use to schedule
appointments without calling the clinic.
Option 1: Hosted booking page
Every FrontDeskClinic account includes a hosted booking page at booking.frontdeskclinic.com/your-clinic-slug. Share this
URL in emails, SMS reminders, or on your Google Business Profile. No website changes required.
Option 2: Embedded widget
To embed the booking widget directly on your clinic website:
1. Go to Settings > Online Booking > Widget.
2. Copy the JavaScript snippet shown on the page.
3. Paste the snippet into the <body> of your website's HTML, on every page where you want the booking button to appear.
4. Optionally customize the button label, color, and position using the configuration options shown in the panel.
Option 3: Direct link to specific provider or appointment type
Append query parameters to the hosted booking URL to pre-select a provider or appointment type:

&appointment_type=new-patient
This is useful for provider-specific referral links or targeted marketing campaigns.
Controlling which appointment types are bookable online
Under Settings > Scheduling > Appointment Types, toggle Online Bookable for each type. Some appointment types (e.g.,
procedures requiring pre-authorization) should be set to staff-only booking.
