Calendar sync troubleshooting

Calendar Sync Troubleshooting FrontDeskClinic can sync provider schedules to Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook (via CalDAV or Microsoft 365 OAuth). If synced events are missing, duplicated, or showing incorrect times, follow these steps. Verify the sync connection 1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Calendar Sync. 2. Check the Status column for your connected calendar. A green dot means the connection is active; a red dot means re-authorization is needed. 3. If re-authorization is needed, click Reconnect and follow the OAuth prompts. Check time zone settings Mismatched time zones are the most common cause of appointments appearing at the wrong time in external calendars. - In FrontDeskClinic: confirm the clinic time zone under Settings > Clinic > General. - In Google Calendar: confirm the calendar's time zone matches. - In Outlook: confirm the account's default time zone in Outlook settings. Events not appearing in external calendar - Sync runs every 5 minutes. Wait a few minutes and refresh your calendar. - Confirm the provider's FrontDeskClinic account email matches the connected Google or Microsoft account. - If events still do not appear, disconnect and reconnect the calendar sync. Duplicate events Duplicate events can occur if a calendar was connected more than once. Disconnect all calendar connections for the affected provider, manually delete duplicates from the external calendar, and reconnect once. Still not resolved? Contact support with the provider name, the external calendar platform (Google/Outlook), and the date range where events are missing or duplicated. Include a screenshot if possible.
